Yes..it's starting already! The toy catalogs are coming and she wants EVERYTHING! Although; she is very thoughtful. I caught her several times saying ," Look at this; I want this for my baby brother!" What a sweet girl she is! Truth be told when I was little when the JcPenney's toy catalog would come; I wanted the whole page! I NEVER thought of my siblings ever. If you ever remember those catalogs they way they display those toys. Well.. it reminds me of Christmas Story and the window of toys!!! I WANTED IT ALL!!! I'm glad to know I've somehow managed to show Miss Thang ( Haylee) that she needs to think of others too!
Every year, I always give to the Red Cross Kettles and various causes and I also give Haylee and Bennett money to hand to them as well. Then I explain to her why she just gave them money. It really seems to make her happy to know she is helping others!
